It's All Greek to Us.
Theatre as we know it today began with the ancient Greeks, and our Intro to Greek Tragedy class gives our students the experience of those classic plays.
We create our own "tragedy" in the style of the Greeks, following their format, learning about the playwrights of the time, and introducing the classic chorus to the students.
In the tradition of the Greek theatre, students create their own masks that we incorporate into the play.
